I am a Senior Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with over 20 years of experience in both full-time employee and self-employed roles.

I have experience in all areas of HR from building an HR department from nothing up to managing various human resource programs at an international software development company.

I believe in good open, honest communication which allows me to gain trust and respect from both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. I consistently deliver high quality service, meet tight deadlines and have a strong results orientation with a flexible approach to work. I am a “doer” and make things happen!

As a human resource generalist, I have experience dealing with a wide scope of employee relations.  My firm but empathetic approach is based on practical experience and knowledge of the human rights and legal aspects of employee relations.

My specialty is taking the time to identify the driving force behind an organization’s success and creating customized HR solutions that took their culture and needs into consideration. I am a huge promoter of mental health and well-being. Companies need to be proactive and provide more resources for employees and leaders in order to support them through changing times. Ensuring the employee has purpose and meaning to their work will help them understand the contributions they are making and will keep them engaged and motivated.
