Thanks for visiting East Slope Rod Works. This site is devoted to detailing my bamboo fly rod restoration, refinishing and repair services, as well as custom-finished new rods. My goal is to give you a better understanding of what I offer and hopefully answer any questions you may have about restoration, repair and custom finishing of vintage and contemporary bamboo fly rods.

January 2025 Update

I am saddened to inform you all that due to a recent dire health diagnosis, I will be suspending all restoration, repair and rod building services. I have enjoyed 20 + years of this work for myself and my patrons. Thank all of you for trusting me in restoring and repairing your special vintage and contemporary rods.
Note that I will be maintaining and updating the fore sale listings for the foreseeable future and will hand off sales duties to my son, Evan.
